Missouri Soldier Among Three Dead in Iraq Attack
The Pentagon says a Northwest Missouri man is among three soldiers killed this week in an Iraqi bombing. Army Specialist Joshua Munger, 22, of Maysville was killed Wednesday when an improvised explosive went off near the Humvee he was aboard. The attack happened in Latafiyah, about 25 miles south of Baghdad.
Munger joined the Army in June 2002 and arrived at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, at the start of this year. He is survived by a wife and an eleven-month-old son. Two other men were also killed in the attack. All three were part of the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell.
