Missouri superintendent charged steroids case
PILOT KNOB (AP) - A southeast Missouri school superintendent is charged with trying to sell steroids through the mail.
Prosecutors say James Bell of Pilot Knob is charged with four felony drug counts involving the sale of steroids.
KSDK-TV reports (http://on.ksdk.com/1AhILNl ) Bell is accused of trying to ship a package of performance enhancing drugs to California. The package contained 10 vials of a colored liquid and 300 white pills.
Bell is the superintendent of the Belleview School District in Iron County. He is currently being held at the St. Francois County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Online court records do not show that Bell has an attorney.
