Missouri Task Force One Deploys to Joplin

JOPLIN, Mo. - Missouri Task Force One deployed to Joplin Monday night in order to assist with search and rescue efforts in the heart of the damaged area.
85 members of the Task Force arrived in Joplin before 3 a.m. Monday. The team immediately dispatched five search and rescue teams searching a three block area in the heart of the damage.
The Task Force reported finding complete devastation, as well as deceased people.
Missouri Task Force One is known for its work in New York City following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.
