WACO, Texas - The Mizzou volleyball team lost its third-straight five-set match at Baylor, 3-2 (25-23, 25-16, 18-25, 20-25, 8-15), on Saturday afternoon in Waco, Texas. The loss drops the Tigers to 14-7 overall and 1-4 in Big 12 play. Mizzou has now dropped three-straight five-set matches after falling to Kansas State and No. 22 Oklahoma in five sets in its previous two matches.

Despite the loss, sophomore outside hitter Lisa Henning had a career-best match with 27 kills on .365 hitting while pitching in five digs and three blocks. Senior middle hitter Brittney Brimmage (East St. Louis, Ill.) also had a nice match with 12 kills on .320 hitting but the rest of the Tiger offense struggled in the match as no other Tiger finished with more than seven kills.

Sophomore setter Molly Kreklow posted her third straight double-double with 52 assists and 14 digs as she has now posted six double-doubles in her last seven matches. She also added five kills on 16 attacks. Kreklow's 14 digs on the afternoon were second-best on the team behind senior libero Priscilla Armendariz's 22 in the match.

Mizzou claimed the first two sets behind a great offensive attack. Mizzou dominated the second set en-route to a 25-16 set win and take a 2-0 match lead.

But Baylor came out and played like a different team in the final three sets. The Bears' hit .333 or better in each of the final three sets and limited to Mizzou to just 31 kills over the final three sets as they pulled off the comeback.

Mizzou will be back in action next Wednesday against Kansas in the annual ‘Bust the House' match.
