Missouri has won 10 of its last 11 games as they head into an important week of SEC play.

Columbia - The Missouri volleyball team set up a huge week of SEC play with a four set win Sunday over Georgia. The Tigers trailed in the first and third sets, but rallied back in both to win. Mizzou preserved its undefeated record at home this season with its 10th win.

Service aces were the difference in the match. The Tigers’ 16 aces are tops in the SEC this season and put the Tigers over the top against the Bulldogs, who had more kills, assists, and fewer errors than the Tigers. Kylie Deberg had 7 of 16 aces for the Tigers, which set her career high. Her 16 kills also led the team. Sophomore middle blocker Tyanna Omazic was a defensive force as she finished with nine blocks, three of which were solo.

The 24th ranked Tigers will welcome two fellow ranked opponents this week to Columbia. 23rd ranked Tennessee will be the opponent on Wednesday as Missouri will try to avenge a five set road loss to the Volunteers from September. Kentucky will head to Mizzou Arena on Sunday for the Tigers’ 2018 home finale.
