Mizzou agrees 2017 football game with Idaho
COLUMBIA - The University of Missouri and University of Idaho have agreed to a single game for October 21, 2017. The game will be take place in Columbia as the final non-conference game of the season.
In 2017, Missouri will be home to face Missouri State on September 2 and Purdue on September 16 before traveling to Mansfield, Connecticut for a road game against UConn on September 23.
While dates for Mizzou's 2017 conference schedule have not been set, the Tigers will have host Auburn, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee, while traveling to Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
In a release sent out on Friday, Executive Associate Athletic Director Bryan Maggard said: "Our thanks to the Idaho administration and staff, we're very pleased to work together to get this game scheduled. We appreciate their efforts and are glad to be able to close out the schedule for the 2017 season."
Mizzou and Idaho have only faced each other two previous times, with both of the games taking place in Columbia as well. The Tigers have a 2-0 record against the Vandals, winning 14-10 in 1958 and 24-0 in 1963.
