Mizzou baseball falls short to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Mizzou baseball fell to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 5-2 Monday evening.
The Tigers started out strong with a two run bottom of the second.
Missouri had five hits in the first two frames.
The Tigers continued to lead 2-0 into the fifth inning until Texas A&M-Corpus Christi tied the game 2-2.
The Islanders went ahead 3-2 in the seventh and sealed the win with two more runs in the eighth.
Mizzou freshman Ben Pedersen made the start in his collegiate debut allowing one hit and fanning two Islanders in four innings.
The Tigers continue their road trip next at McNeese State on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m.
