Mizzou dominates Southeast Missouri State
COLUMBIA - The Missouri Tigers football defeated the Redhawks of Southeast Missouri State, 50-0, Saturday night.
The Tigers seemed to score in every way possible in the first half, starting off with a rushing touchdown from Larry Rountree III followed by an interception taken to the end zone by the Mizzou defense, their second pick six of the season.
The Kelly Bryant to Albert Okwuegbunam connection was on full display again as Bryant tossed up a beautiful three-yard fade in the corner of the end zone to make the score 20-0.
Perhaps the play of the night came on a punt return from Richaud Floyd who took the punt 71 yards back to the end zone, eluding the entirety of the Redhawks defense.
Worthy to note, Tigers kicker Tucker McCann was three for three on field goals, making kicks from 44, 42, and 52 yards.
Second half touchdowns from Larry Rountree III and Tyler Badie put this game away for Mizzou.
The Tigers improve to 2-1 on the season and are gearing up for the start of conference play as they square off with the Gamecocks of South Carolina next week at Faurot Field.
