Mizzou soccer shuts out Vanderbilt 1-0
NASHVILLE- The Mizzou Tigers traveled to Tennesee. Sunday afternoon and secured their fourth consecutive win in a 1-0 victory over Vanderbilt.
After a scoreless first half, the Tigers found the net as sophomore Kaitlyn Clark sent a ball across the box to senior Reagan Russell who one-timed a shot past the Vanderbilt goalkeeper. The Commodores continued to test Mizzou's defense with 10 shots, five on goal, but redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Kristen Rivers denied all chances to tie the game.
The Tigers improve their record to 9-4-4 with one regular season match remaining against Texas A&M this Thursday at 8:00 pm CST. The game will be televised live on the SEC Network.
