COLUMBIA -- The No. 12 Missouri Tigers exploded for seven runs on Sunday afternoon, completing the three-game sweep over the No. 18 Baylor Bears with a 7-0 victory. The Tigers now stand at 28-5 on the season with a 7-2 record in conference play. Mizzou has won 21 straight games at home dating back to last season.

After struggling offensively all weekend, the Missouri bats came to life in the first inning on Sunday, scoring four runs on four hits to take the early lead. All four runs came with two outs, with the rally starting with an RBI double by Ashley Fleming, scoring Corrin Genovese, who reached on a fielder's choice. Kelsea Roth followed with a two-run homer, her fourth of the year, to make it 3-0. Lindsey Muller singled ahead of Kelsi Jones, who also singled, while a throwing error on the play allowed Muller to score the unearned run.

The Tigers kept the pressure on in the second, adding three more runs to push their lead to 7-0. Jenna Marston drew her second walk of the game and fifth in her last five plate appearances and Genovese singled to center. Hudson drew a full count walk to load the bases and Fleming drove in her second RBI of the day with a base hit to right. Genovese scored after Roth walked, and Muller plated a run on a fielder's choice.

From that point on, it was all Chelsea Thomas. She allowed just two hits on the afternoon and walked only two batters, setting down 12 straight batters between the second and sixth innings. She finished the game with 10 strikeouts, her fourth double-digit strikeout performance of the season, to improve to 14-3.

Fleming's two hits led all Tigers, while she also added two RBI. Roth's three driven in were tops on the team. Genovese scored a pair of runs as well.

Missouri will continue Big 12 play beginning Thursday, April 5, with a 7 p.m. game against the Texas Longhorns. Game two of that series will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, with the series concluding at Noon on Saturday afternoon.
