Mizzou Students Return from Climate Change Rally
WASHINGTON - More than 100 University of Missouri students are heading back from Washington D.C. Monday.
Ten of the students were from Coal Free Mizzou, a campus group devoted to creating a coal free campus. The students made a 15 hour drive to go to the Forward on Climate Rally marching through Washington.
More than 35,000 people joined the march through the city to urge President Barack Obama to act on climate change and to get the president to stop the construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline.
The Mizzou students are expected to get back around 10 a.m. Monday morning.
