The "he" that Herberts refers to is Oklahoma forward Taylor Griffin who missed the front end of a one and one while Oklahoma trailed by two with 26 seconds left. With the free throw line only 50 feet away from Herberts, it allowed him to make eye contact with the shooter and well, we all know what happened after that. Herberts took his shirt off to distract Griffin. So, where does this accomplishment stand in herbert's life?

"It's top five mainly just because the attention that it's getting," said Herberts. "I mean this is kind of how I am all the time, just kind of wild and crazy, goofy."

Missouri head coach Mike Anderson admitts he expected to see something like this at Missouri. "That's the passion I saw and envisioned when you talk about Missouri basketball," said Coach Anderson, "Even in the days at the Hearnes Center, so I think it speaks volumes about the interest in Tiger basketball."

But there is just one question everyone wants to know.."Who is Steve Herberts as a person? He's that same guy. There's really no difference between what I do at the games and what I am in real life," Herberts said. "I live life just to have fun and do what I wanna do."

Mike Anderson and the rest of the Tigers are just glad that Herberts is on their side. Herberts is an English major and is on pace to graduate in May of 2008.
