Mizzou track has 7 first place finishers in Missouri Collegiate Challenge
COLUMBIA, MO - The Missouri Tigers hosted the Missouri Collegiate Challenge in track and field on Saturday. The Tigers finished with seven individual first place awards and a first place team award.
Sophomore Morgan O'Neal placed first in the Women's 200m Dash with a time of 25.54 seconds.
The Tigers dominated in the Women's 800m race, taking the top four spots and five of the top eight. Melissa Menghini finished first with a meet record of 2:13.11.
Five of the top six competitors in the Women's Weight Throw event were Tigers, including the top four. Jordan McClendon captured first place in the event with a throw of 21.39.
The Mizzou Men's 4x400 team captured first with a time of 3:22.15.
Two Tigers finished at the top of the Men's 60m Dash with Jayson Ashford taking first place with a time of 6.80 seconds.
A meet record was broken by Nylo Clarke in the 200m Dash with a time of 21.73 seconds. Mizzou runners finished first, second and third in the event.
Junior Dylan Quisenberry finished first in the Men's 600m race with a time of 1:25.17.
Freshman Oaklee Hauschild finished first in the Men's Mile Run event with a time of 4:24.08.
Missouri will look to continue their dominance at the SEC Indoor Championship in College Station, Texas from February 27th through February 29th.
