Mizzou volleyball gets its fourth straight win
Starkville, MS - The Mizzou volleyball team (16-4, 6-2) continued its hot stretch Sunday with a 3-0 win at Mississippi State. The Tigers have now won four consecutive matches and have won all 12 sets during those four victories. Mizzou was dominant all match long, as the Bulldogs managed just 14 points in the first two sets and 16 in the third.
Kylie Deberg led the Tigers in kills with 13, while Dariana Hollingswort backed her with 10 and nine digs. Riley Sents and Andrea Fuentes were consistent in the back, as Sents contributed 16 digs and five assists while Fuentes had 35 assists to go with four digs.
The Tigers sit in third place in the SEC, behind Florida and Kentucky, who are both undefeated in conference play. Mizzou will attempt to push its win streak to five on Friday when Auburn enters Mizzou Arena. Sunday is a match that the Tigers have circled on their calendars as they will head to Gainesville to try to knock off SEC leading and 11th ranked Florida.
