Mizzou Volleyball to Appear on ESPNU
COLUMBIA - Fresh off of a Sweet 16 appearance in the 2010 NCAA Tournament, the Mizzou volleyball program will continue to gain national exposure this fall as it will appear on ESPNU on September 21 when they square off against Big 12 foe Iowa State in Ames at 7 PM. The appearance on ESPNU for the Tigers is their first since October 12, 2005, when they played at Texas.
The Tigers' clash with Iowa State is one of four Big 12 volleyball matches that will air live on ESPNU this season. The others are Texas at Oklahoma on Sept. 28, Texas at Iowa State on October 2 and Iowa State at Oklahoma on November 2. Additional television appearances are possible through other Big 12 broadcast partners and institutional contacts and will be announced at a later time.
ESPNU can be seen on DirecTV (Channel 208) and DISH Network (Channel 141) as well as many other cable providers.
