COLUMBIA - This year, I'm going to host a weekly Mizzou football webcast to get you ready for gameday. Every week, I'll breakdown three things you need to know about the upcoming matchup. This week, the Tigers travel to Toledo for their first road test of the season on Saturday, September 6 at 11 a.m.

1. Gary Pinkel: Gary Pinkel and some of his staff coached at Toledo in the '90s. In fact, Pinkel is the winningest coach in school history.

2. Maty Mauk: It's also a homecoming for Maty Mauk, who grew up just an hour from Toledo

3. Trenches: The matchup to watch out for is Mizzou's defensive line versus Toledo's offensive line. The Rockets allowed just six sacks last season, which was the fewest in the country.

Prediction: Toledo is arguably Mizzou's toughest nonconference game, but I expect Maty Mauk to make some big plays in front of family and friends.

Missouri 27

Toledo 23
