Mizzou women's basketball fall to No. 25 Arkansas in overtime
COLUMBIA - Coming off of two losses to two ranked teams, Mizzou looked to take down No. 25 Arkansas, but fell just short in a 85-81 overtime loss.
The Tigers got off to a hot start defensively, as they held Arkansas to 10 points in the first quarter.
Mizzou slowed down defensively in the second quarter, but held Arkansas off offensively to take a commanding 35-27 lead into the half.
The Tigers went into the fourth quarter up eight, but the Razorbacks didn't give up, as they came back to force overtime.
Arkansas stopped all of Mizzou's momentum in overtime to steal a 85-81 win.
The Tigers will travel to Athens in hope of a turnaround, as they play Georgia Thursday at 6 p.m.
