Mo. Parks Officials Reopen Beach Near KC
JEFFERSON CITY (AP) - Missouri state parks officials have reopened a swimming beach near Kansas City that had been closed because of high bacteria.
The Department of Natural Resources said Wednesday that the beach at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park now is open. The beach was
closed last week.
Officials say all state park beaches are now open except at Lewis and Clark State Park in northwestern Missouri. That park is located near the Missouri River, and the beach is closed because of flooding.
