Moberly Man Pleads Not Guilty to Child Pornography Charges
MOBERLY - A Moberly man appeared in court Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to three charges of possession of child pornography.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper Patrick Sublette issued a warrant to search for child pornography and arrested Shane Adam Dill, 45, on Bedford Street on Jan. 30.
Court documents say Sublette said he found three movies he believed to contain child pornography on an open laptop in Dill's bedroom. The documents say one of the videos showed a child under the age of 11 having sex with an adult. Two other videos detail graphic sex acts involving adults with children under the age of 11.
Dill told Sublette he downloaded child pornography using eMule software and downloaded hundreds of child pornography videos on his computer.
Under Missouri law it is illegal to possess pornography showing anyone under the age of 18.
