MOBERLY - Moberly police arrested two people Saturday for having materials to make counterfeit money.

Moberly police said officers arrested 19-year-old Benjamin Gorham and 32-year-old Lena Kalinowski after officers searched a home on County Road 1330 and found a counterfeit bill and items associated with making counterfeit money, as well as meth.

Moberly police said Brookfield police contacted the department Friday night after Brookfield officers arrested a subject who had counterfeit money with ties to Moberly.

The Randolph County Prosecutors Office charged Gorham and Kalinowski with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a forging instrument. Moberly police said the Randolph County Prosecutors Office also charged Gorham with forgery.

Both Gorham and Kalinowski were in the Randolph County Justice Center Saturday afternoon with bonds set at $45,000 each.

Moberly police said detectives are investigating with Brookfield police.
