Moberly Police arrest teen after shots fired call
MOBERLY - The Moberly Police Department said it responded to a shots fired call Tuesday night that led to an arrest.
Police said they arrived at the area of Nickel Terrace and Kennedy Drive and found evidence of a firearm being discharged.
After they made an attempt to make contact with subjects in the area, two people fled on foot. After a short chase, police arrested an 18-year-old Moberly resident and they were taken into custody.
The person is being charged with unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, resisting arrest, tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property. Police are not releasing the name of the suspect.
The suspect posted bond and was released.
The investigation is ongoing.
