Moberly Police Arrest Two for Drug Charges
MOBERLY - The Moberly Police Department said it arrested a male and female suspect Monday after searching a home for drugs.
The department said the North Missouri Drug Task Force and the Randolph County Sheriff's Department aided in the search in the 500 block of Taylor Street.
The department said it found 24-year-old Jesse Nash and 25-year-old Tessie Reed, both of Moberly, inside the home with three small children.
The department said officers found drugs and possible methamphetamine. Reed and Nash were arrested and the children were turned over to state custody.
Reed and Nash have been charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, endangering the welfare of a child and maintaining a public nuisance.
