5:30 p.m.: 11 active cases in Cole County 

There are currently 11 active cases of COVID-19 in Cole County, according to the county's health department. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the county to 74.

Cole County is hosting a free community testing event from Tuesday, July 7 through Thursday, July 9. The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the former Cole County Health Department building. 

5 p.m.: One new case in Boone County 

The Columbia/Boone County public health department has confirmed one new case of COVID-19 in the county. This brings the total case count to 354. 

2 p.m.: 468 new cases of COVID-19 in Missouri 

Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services has confirmed an additional 468 cases of COVID-19. This brings the total number of cases to 21,043. Across the state, 998 people have died from the virus.
