University of Missouri engineering students wear green throughout E-Week. About 100 years ago, when MU engineering students discovered St. Patrick was an engineer, they started skipping classes on his day.
E-week evolved into a series of pranks and other fun for engineering students.
"None of them are University-approved," explained student Brad Moll. "We just randomly do pranks just because we can."
This week's pranks included scattering 400-pound concrete shamrocks across campus and putting an engineering tarp over the tiger mosaic in front of Ellis Library.
E-Week events continue through this Saturday on the MU campus.
