MU Gets $5.3M to Study Military Medical Training
COLUMBIA - The University of Missouri has been awarded a $5.3 million federal grant to study future training for military medical personnel.
The two-year grant from the U.S. Department of Defense will fund research by the university's Combat Casualty Training Consortium. The consortium is one of two groups researching combat medic training.
The grant will allow the Missouri group to analyze existing training and recommend how combat trauma care can be improved.
