MU Hosts Nanotechnology Conference
MU researchers used nanotechnology to develop a device which helps them uncover specific viruses.
"Not only will we be able to produce new and improved medical products," explained MU professor Kattesh Katti, "we might be able to detect the disease at its earliest stage."
Nanotechnology also improves more common equipment such as computers.
Experts say increased funding of nanotechnology may create new jobs, provide more research opportunities, and lead to new inventions.
