MU Makes Room for Record Freshmen Class
COLUMBIA - Incoming freshmen at the University of Missouri will have a place to live this school year -- so says MU's Department of Residential Life on Tuesday.
The university has another record-setting incoming class of freshmen, and school representatives said they weren't sure where they'd all live. However, the director of the university's department of residential life, Frankie Minor, said the campus will accomodate each freshman.
"We're using a couple of different temporary accomodations," said Minor. "Living with student staff roommates... and then we've got a few study rooms in some of our newly-rennovated facilities that used to be residence hall rooms."
Res-Life reports between students deciding to leave campus or to defer their enrollment at the university, students can expect more space to open as the semester progresses.
