MU School of Nursing To Receive University's Largest Grant in History
COLUMBIA - A "major announcement" at 9:30 a.m. Monday is set to introduce the largest research grant in University of Missouri history, school officials said in a media release.
MU's Sinclair School of Nursing will receive the historic grant, though the school will not release the exact dollar amount until the announcement at the Reynolds Alumni Center Monday morning. MU Chancellor Brady Deaton will speak at the event, along with Judith Miller, the dean of the nursing school.
Gov. Jay Nixon has awarded the Sinclair School of Nursing a $150,000 grant for two straight years, but this award figures to trump that total.
