MU Student Center Opens
COLUMBIA - The University of Missouri's new student center has many things the old Brady Commons didn't. The student center now has more than 600 seats, some of these including leather couches.
Students returned to a new semester to experience the new student center. Along with a lot of student lounging, there are six new restaurants to serve a range foods. Some of the food includes sandwiches and sushi.
Students are also able to reserve study rooms, and organizations and faculty can reserve one of seven new meeting rooms. The upper level has offices for a number of student organizations.
This section of the union is open along with the school bookstore. There is a third section of the new student center that is expected to open in a few months. Work on the entire project is ahead of schedule.
