MVC Men's Volleyball Ranked No. 8 in Preseason Poll

MARSHALL, MO -- The Missouri Valley College men's volleyball team will open its 2013 season as the No. 8 ranked team in the NAIA Men's Volleyball Preseason Top 10 Poll released Wednesday.

The Vikings finished the 2012 season with a 20-9 overall record, and were ranked in every NAIA Men's Volleyball Top 10 Poll during the season. This year they will be looking to return to the National tournament for the first time since 2007.

MVC will open up the 2013 schedule with an exhibition match with No. 2 ranked Graceland University on January 13. The first regular season match will be January 19 against St. Xavier University in Des Moines, Iowa with the first home contest on January 21 when the Vikings will host No. 6 ranked Missouri Baptist University.
