NE Missouri Beach Closed for Bacteria
JEFFERSON CITY (AP) - A swimming beach at a northeastern Missouri state park has been closed because of high bacteria levels.
The state Department of Natural Resources says Lincoln Lake Beach at Cuivre River State Park will remain closed until water quality improves. Samples will be taken again Monday.
The park is located in Lincoln County.
Swimming beaches at Lewis and Clark State Park in Buchanan County and Trail of Tears State Park in Cape Girardeau County remain closed for maintenance and repairs.
