New Mizzou Hoops Coach Expected to Make $1.1 Million Salary
COLUMBIA - Expected contract numbers were released Tuesday for the new University of Missouri head men's basketball coach Kim Anderson.
MU Athletic Spokesman Chad Moller said Anderson's base salary would be $300,000. Anderson would get $800,000 in guarantees, making his guaranteed salary $1.1 million.
Moller said Anderson's contract allows for incentives, and if he were to get all the incentives, his salary would be around $2.4 million.
Moller said these are just the expected numbers, and hard numbers will be released once the contract is fully executed in 10-14 days.
Anderson was officially introduced as the Missouri's new head men's basketball coach during a news conference Tuesday morning. He replaces Frank Haith who left for the University of Tulsa April 18.
