No Confidence Vote for St. Charles, Mo. Police Chief
ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) - The mayor of St. Charles is looking into a no confidence vote in Police Chief Dennis Corley.
The police officers association in the St. Louis-area town recently issued the no confidence vote for Corley, a 20-year department veteran who has been chief since 2007. Mayor Sally Faith said in a prepared statement that details are under review, but she and the city's director of administration have not made any changes in leadership. She declined to say what issues led to the no confidence vote.
The chief did not return messages seeking comment.
