North Callaway Rethinks Building Plans
"They ran a pretty good campaign, they got the information out there," said Wilkerson. "I really just don't know what will convince people unless we have classrooms outside or something. I really don't know."
School officials said they're reconsidering possible solutions to the crowding problem because classes will resume in two weeks.
"We can't expand our curriculum, the offerings, without the teachers and the room to put them in and the resources," said high school teacher Cassie Lauer. "We don't have enough science labs at the high school. We really need more cafeteria. It's a nightmare trying to get all these kids in for lunch and not being overcrowded."
North Callaway High School is adding two trailers for this academic year.
