One active warrant search leads to three arrests
MONITEAU - Deputies arrested three men in Fortuna during an attempt to locate one person who had active warrants for his arrest.
According to a press release, upon arrival at a residence the suspect was reportedly staying at, deputies came across three people.
They first encountered Steven Doyel, and then found Larry Jobe inside with James Matchett. The subjects eventually complied and went through a background check.
The check revealed that Matchett had active warrants for his arrest and they also found drug paraphernalia in his pants pocket.
Jobe was found to be on probation and parole for drug offenses. A consent to search his persons found marijuana on him.
Deputies then searched the residence of Doyel and located marijuana, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.
All three were taken into custody and transported to Moniteau County Jail.
Larry Jobe, 57 of Fortuna was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
James Matchett, 57 of Fortuna possession of a controlled substance and a warrant for non-support.
Steven Doyel, 60 of Fortuna was charged with delivery of a controlled substance.
