One dead, another seriously injured in motorcycle accident
JEFFERSON CITY - Jefferson City Police and emergency vehicles responded to a call for a motorcycle crash near the 700 block of Clark Ave. Officers found two people lying in the street.
The man, 38-year-old Shawn Cochran, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, 31-year-old Morrigan Carpenter, was taken to a local hospital before being flown by helicopter to University Hospital. Her condition is still unknown.
