One seriously injured in Lake of the Ozarks boat crash
LAKE OF THE OZARKS - One man was seriously injured after two boats collided head on at the Lake of the Ozarks Saturday morning.
MSHP reported two boats were approaching each other head on around 8:45 Saturday morning. The boats collided after they both moved in the same direction in attempt to avoid a collision. The first boat then went over the top of the second boat.
The driver of the second boat, 62-year-old Robert Coffey of Lebanon, was transported to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the first boat received minor injuries, but did not seek treatment. Two additional passengers from both boats were not injured.
