COLUMBIA- Interstate 70 was covered with more snow Wednesday morning after several additional inches fell on the pavement overnight.

The MoDOT traveler information map labeled the road as "covered" as of 7:30 a.m.

KOMU 8 News observed the conditions and found only one lane was cleared for drivers in the early morning hours.

The wind is also a factor, blowing snow into the air and making it difficult to see.  Drivers may need to watch out for semi-trucks parked on the side of the road.

Drivers should also pay attention to exit and entrance ramps being full of snow.
