Pavement Milling, Overlay Cause Lane Restrictions
COLUMBIA - Beginning April 9, APAC Missouri, Inc. will begin pavement milling and overlay on several city streets.
Columbia's Public Works Department said the work will continue for the next 30 days, causing temporary lane restrictions on the streets. Parking on the streets will be restricted during the process, and motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction areas.
The following streets are planned for mill and overlay:
-Balboa Ln., from El Cortez to Sieville
-Nifong Blvd., from Providence Rd. to Bethel
-Old Hwy 63, from Stadium Blvd. to roundabout
-Greenwood Ave., from Stewart Rd. to south end
-Brewer, from Defoe to Rollins Rd.
-Magnolia Ct., from Garden Dr. to east end
-Garden Dr., from asphalt to Primrose
-Clayton, from north end to Donnelly Ave.
-Banks Ave., from Sexton Rd. to Worley
-Worley, from Garth Ave. to Stadium Blvd.
-Ash, from West Blvd. to Stadium Blvd.
-Ash, from Providence Rd. to Garth Ave.
-Ash, from Aldeah to Anderson
-10th St., from Rogers to Park Ave.
-Hinkson Ave., from Old 63 to Melbourne
-Vandiver Dr., from Providence to Lake Ridgeway
-Walnut, from Providence Rd. to College Ave.
