Peterson Missing for Opening Part of Practice
EDEN PRAIRIE, MN (AP) -- Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was missing from the first part of Wednesday's practice. Peterson was not on the field for drills during the portion of the workout reporters are allowed to watch.
There has been no sign of any injury for Peterson, who is sixth in the NFL with 296 yards rushing through three games. He has three touchdowns for the 0-3 Vikings.
Also absent from the first part of practice was middle linebacker E.J. Henderson, who was bothered last week by a sore left knee but played last week against the Detroit Lions.
The Vikings play at Kansas City on Sunday.
