Piece of Pentagon Visits State Capitol
A piece of stone from the damaged Pentagon nearly five years ago is being moved from Washington D.C. to a permanent memorial in Kansas. After being in St. Louis this weekend, the stone is on display at the Capitol Building in Jefferson City all this week.
"It's a reflection of the tide that has turned for all of us, regardless if you're 4 or 64. Once 9/11 happened it was a real wake up call for all of America," said Pat Kerr of the Missouri Veterans Commission.
The historic piece of stone is being escorted by the Patriot Guard Riders, a group of individuals and veterans working to support fallen heros.
