Police arrest man after finding 1,100 doses of Ecstasy
COLUMBIA — Columbia Police Department Vice Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit detectives arrested Dylan Parham for trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon on Monday around 2:30 p.m.
The CPD collaborated with the Drug Enforcement Administration, the East Central Drug Task Force and the United States Postal Inspectors on the case.
Officials said they asked for a search warrant for 1503 Lowe Street after finding a package addressed to Parham that contained about 252.79 grams of MDMA, also known as Ecstasy.
The news release states the amount is equivalent to 1,100 doses of Ecstasy.
During the search, officials said they found a shotgun and capsules of Vyvanse along with the package.
