Police arrest suspect in Boonville Break Time robbery
BOONVILLE - Police said Wednesday they have arrested one of the two suspects they believe were involved in the robbery of a Boonville Break Time May 17.
Citizen information and help from the Columbia Police Department led Boonville police to arrest 24-year-old Joshua Harrington of Columbia on charges including first-degree robbery, armed criminal action and the unlawful use of a weapon.
Boonville police also issued a warrant for the arrest of a second suspect, 21-year-old Daniel Diaz of Kirksville, on suspicion of the same three charges in connection to the robbery.
In May, police said two men walked into the Break Time on Route B and Americana around 3:40 a.m., fired a shot and got away with money.
Police later identified a gray colored Hyundai four-door car they believed may have been involved in the robbery.
