Police Change Downtown Parking for Homecoming
COLUMBIA - The Columbia Police Department confirmed Friday it will not allow cars to park along certain parts of Sixth and Ninth Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Residents are also encouraged not to park on Broadway between Sixth and Ninth from 11 a.m. until the parade is over. Cars will not be allowed to exit these spots during the parade.
The University of Missouri Police Department said that there will be no changes to the university's normal parking rules. Parking lots will be designated like during other game days. Traffic patterns will also remain the same on Saturday.
