Police investigate deaths of 2 southwest Missouri women
MONETT (AP) - Police are investigating the deaths of two women in separate homes in southwest Missouri.
Authorities said the husband of 37-year-old Anna K. Smith found her dead Saturday evening in their home in Monett. Police say her cause of death is not immediately apparent.
The Joplin Globe reported police received a call shortly after Smith's body was found that a second woman, 25-year-old Tosha M. Norris, had been found dead in her home. The cause of her death was also not obvious.
A 35-year-old man, who was in a relationship with Norris, was taken into custody after detectives learned he had been with both women on Saturday. Police said the suspect was wanted on a felony warrant for domestic violence in a case in which Norris was the victim.
