Police investigate shooting in Columbia Friday night

COLUMBIA - The Columbia Police Department responded to a shooting Friday night in the area of Pennant Street and Worley Street.
Officers got to the scene around 10:42 p.m. and were contacted by Joint Communications that a man was at the hospital with a gunshot wound. Officers said they spoke with a 22-year-old man from Columbia who had non-life threatening injuries.
At the scene, police said three cars and one house were hit with bullets.
The Columbia Police Department Detectives and Forensic Evidence Unit were called to the scene to gather more evidence and information.
