Police respond to shots fired in north Columbia

COLUMBIA- The Columbia Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident off Brown Station Road that happened Wednesday night.

CPD said it sent officers to the 4400 block of Brown Station Road just before midnight.

Police found multiple shell casings, bullet fragments and broken glass from the back window of a vehicle. 

CPD said witnesses described three black men in a green or gray SUV following a white vehicle.

Witnesses said the men fired at the white vehicle, but officers did not find any damage to buildings or parked vehicles in the area.

Police said there were no injuries and they have not made any arrests yet.
