Police Respond to Sub Shop Robbery
JEFFERSON CITY - On Thursday, February 9, Jefferson City police officers were called to an armed robbery at Sub Shop on Missouri Boulevard. The call was placed around 9 p.m. Thursday.
When police arrived the victim told officers a man entered the business and implied he had a weapon. The suspect demanded money, sprayed the victim with pepper spray, and physically struck the victim before fleeing the business. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of money. No one else was in the business when the robbery occurred.
