ST. LOUIS (AP) — A woman has been arrested in St. Louis after allegedly leaving her 2-year-old daughter in a vehicle while she was inside a casino.

Police say a security guard discovered the child alone inside the vehicle Wednesday afternoon at a garage at Lumiere Casino. Authorities say the car had been in the garage for 34 minutes by then.

The 36-year-old mother returned to the car nearly an hour later and was arrested. The child was released to the custody of a grandparent.
