Rams QB Bradford, DE Long Nursing Ankle Injuries
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford and defensive end Chris Long did not practice Thursday due to ankle injuries.
Bradford, who missed two games earlier in the season with a high ankle sprain, re-aggravated the injury in a 23-20 loss to Arizona last Sunday. He practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, but the soreness increased.
Bradford has six touchdowns and five interceptions for St. Louis (2-9). He was limping noticeably on Thursday afternoon
Coach Steve Spagnuolo said a decision on Bradford's status for Sunday's game at San Francisco will be made Friday. Backup A.J. Feeley took the first-team repetitions on Thursday.
Long said he felt fine and sat out as a precautionary measure. He leads the team with 10 sacks.
